Putin has no plans to attend ex-Japanese PM Abe's funeral: Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has no plans to visit Japan and attend the state funeral of assassinated former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, the Kremlin said. Japan on Monday said that the government had notified all the countries it has diplomatic ties with, including Russia, of Abe's state funeral on September 27. Abe was shot dead on July 8.
