Putin spent $186 million on personal & staff security in 5 months: Report

Russian President Vladimir Putin has spent $185.7 million (₹1,530 crore) on his own security as well as the security of his staff between January and May this year, a report has said, citing government data. The amount comprises 77% of the annual budget allocation and is higher than the Russian government's expenditure on military and border protection, the report said.
