Putin takes veiled dig at US' 100% tariff threat to India, calls it 'ugly'
Russian President Vladimir Putin took a veiled dig at the US over its threat to impose 100% tariffs on countries buying Russian oil and gas, including India. He said these "so-called secondary sanctions" target countries which are pursuing their own interests, not someone else's. Western competitors are doing everything to regain their competitive edge through "ugly" measures, Putin added.
