Putin to visit India in September for BRICS summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit India to attend the BRICS summit in New Delhi on September 12-13, Russian official Yuri Ushakov has said. This would be Putin’s second trip to India within a year, as he travelled to India for the India-Russia Annual Summit in December 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to visit Russia this year.
