Putin wanted to make deal on Ukraine, some made it difficult for him: Trump

US President Donald Trump said his 90-minute call with Russian President Vladimir Putin focused largely on the war in Ukraine. He added that Putin “was ready to make a deal a while ago” but some people made it difficult for him to make a deal. Meanwhile, Putin warned the US against "damaging consequences" of a new military action in Iran.
