PV Sindhu progresses to pre-quarterfinals at Badminton World C'ships

Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu advanced to the pre-quarterfinals at the BWF World Championships in New Delhi on Wednesday. Sindhu secured a 21-16 21-17 win over Canada's Wen Yu Zhang to enter the Round of 16. World number 11 Sindhu will face China's world number three Wang Zhi Yi in the pre-quarterfinal. Notably, Sindhu is chasing sixth world championship medal.
