PV Sindhu wins bronze medal at Badminton Asia Championships

World number seven PV Sindhu has won a bronze medal in the 2022 Badminton Asia Championships following a defeat in the semi-finals of the tournament, against Japanese defending champion Akane Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi defeated Sindhu 13-21, 21-19, 21-16. Sindhu had won a bronze medal at the 2014 edition of the tournament in Gimcheon as well.
