PVR, INOX respond after Ambani reveals 'Jio first-day-first-show' plan

PVR and INOX have responded after Mukesh Ambani said Premium JioFiber customers could watch movies the same day they release in theatres. INOX said currently producers, distributors and multiplex owners have mutually agreed to an exclusive theatrical window of 8 weeks. PVR said globally producers kept a "sacrosanct gap" between theatrical release date and date of release on other platforms.
