Qatar denies holding 3 Iranian pilots after aircraft were downed

Qatar denied Tehran’s claims that three Iranian pilots are being held in secret detention after their aircraft were downed during hostilities early in US-Iran war. Iran claimed the pilots had been held for six months and asked Red Cross to intervene. Qatar said its search-and-rescue teams “carried out their duties to the fullest extent” while searching for the pilots’ remains.
