Qatar partially removes ban on frozen seafood from India

Qatar partially lifted the ban imposed on the import of frozen seafood from India, the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) said on Friday. The ban was imposed in November last year following the alleged detection of cholera-causing bacteria from some consignments from India, MPEDA officials said. Restrictions will continue on the export of chilled seafood.
