Qatar's Barshim wins 3rd straight high jump gold at World Championships

Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Mutaz Barshim of Qatar jumped a world-leading 2.37 metres to win high jump gold medal for the third successive time at World Athletics Championships in Oregon on Monday. South Korea's Sanghyeok Woo took silver (2.35 metres), while Ukraine's Andriy Protsenko won bronze (2.33 metres). Notably, 31-year-old Barshim went beyond his own season's best of 2.30 metres.
