Indian-origin investor Hemant Taneja, CEO of General Catalyst, is deepening his bet on the AI boom with a record investment in Anthropic. "We are quadrupling down on Anthropic…It's been a privilege to watch Anthropic grow into one of the world's most important companies," Taneja said. General Catalyst made its largest-ever single investment in the Claude-maker's latest funding round.
