Qualcomm approaches Intel for potential takeover: Reports

Chipmaker Qualcomm has reportedly approached rival Intel for a potential acquisition, which could be the largest takeover deal in the tech industry, if materialised. Once the most valuable chipmaker, Intel's shares have lost 60% of value since the start of the year. Intel has been struggling with mounting losses and declining sales after missing out on the artificial intelligence boom.
