Qualcomm laying off hundreds of employees in US this year

Qualcomm, a US-based tech giant company involved in semiconductors or chip manufacturing, will lay off 226 employees in the United States this year. The Qualcomm layoffs are announced as a part of business diversification strategy. The chipmaker announced in a notice that the layoffs will begin on November 12.
