Quarantine of cruise passengers extended over hantavirus risk

Australia has extended the quarantine of six passengers from the MV Hondius cruise till June 23 as a precaution after hantavirus cases were linked to the ship. All tested negative and show no symptoms, but officials cited the 42-day incubation period. The decision follows WHO guidance, with 13 cases reported so far.
