Quitting jobs common strategy by husbands to avoid paying maintenance: HC

Delhi High Court said quitting jobs is a common strategy adopted by well-qualified husbands to avoid paying maintenance. The court said this while hearing plea of man who challenged family court's assessment of his income and maintenance he was directed to pay his estranged wife and children. The man said he opted for early retirement and was dependent on pension.
