Quizizz raises $31.5 million from Tiger Global, Yahoo Co-founder

Bengaluru and California-based student engagement platform Quizizz on Wednesday said it has raised $31.5 million in a funding round led by Tiger Global. Yahoo Co-founder Jerry Yang and existing investors Eight Roads Ventures, GSV Ventures, and Nexus Venture Partners also participated in the Series-B round. This has valued the nearly six-year-old startup at about $300 million, TechCrunch reported.
