R Ashwin joins Rahul Dravid's Dublin Guardians as captain & mentor

Former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin joined Dublin Guardians as a direct signing for the inaugural European T20 Premier League (ETPL). Co-owned by Rahul Dravid, the franchise has appointed Ashwin as captain and mentor. Earlier, he was signed by San Francisco Unicorns for Major League Cricket (MLC) 2026 season. He also joined BBL club Sydney Thunder in 2025 but didn't play.
