Actor R Madhavan's 17-year-old son Vedaant won five gold medals for India at the Malaysian invitational age group swimming championships in Kuala Lumpur. Sharing pictures, Madhavan tweeted, "With god's grace and all your wishes, Vedaant gets 5 golds for India (50, 100, 200, 400 and 1500m) with two personal bests." He added, "Elated and very grateful."
