Indian Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa became the first finalist of the Grand Chess Tour 2026 after defeating Germany's Vincent Keymer in the rapid games of their semi-final on Monday. The 21-year-old beat Keymer 9-3 in the classical match before defeating him 4-0 in the two rapid games, taking the scoreline to 17-3. Notably, four blitz games are yet to be played.
