R Praggnanandhaa creates history, becomes first Indian to win Norway Chess title

Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa became the first Indian to win the Norway Chess title after defeating Germany's Vincent Keymer in the final round in Oslo on Friday. The 20-year-old began the day in third place with 15 points. He earned three points with the win and finished the tournament on 18 points. Notably, he defeated Magnus Carlsen twice during the tournament.
