R Smaran extends red-hot all-format run with highest T20 score

Smaran continued with his golden run, this time smashing a valiant 38-ball 72 against Delhi at Ahmedabad in the 2025/26 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He has been in stunning form this domestic season, earlier hitting two unbeaten double centuries in the Ranji Trophy. Smaran now averages over 70 in first-class and List A cricket, and nearly 55 in T20 cricket.
