RAC removed for new Amrit Bharat trains launching this month

Indian Railways will launch Amrit Bharat II Express trains from January 2026 with updated ticketing norms. RAC tickets in Sleeper class are abolished, and passengers must pay a minimum fare for 200 km (Sleeper) and 50 km (Second class). Fares remain simple and transparent, with digital payment-linked refunds and automatic lower-berth allocation for seniors, women and children.
