Racing legend Dan Gurney dies after pneumonia complications
Dan Gurney, the first driver with wins in each of the Formula One, IndyCar and NASCAR Cup series, died on Sunday at the age of 86 from complications of pneumonia. Gurney raced for Porsche, Ferrari, BRM, and Brabham in F1 before creating his own team. After a career that saw 51 wins, Gurney retired from racing in 1970.
