Congress leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil on Tuesday resigned from Congress party and said that staying with the party would have been "inappropriate" for him. As per reports, Patil is likely to join BJP soon. Earlier in April, Patil resigned as the Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly and also declined to campaign for the party in the Lok Sabha elections.
