Radiation levels around nuclear plant normal: China after reports of leak

China on Tuesday said that no abnormal radiation was detected outside Taishan Nuclear Power Plant in Guangdong province, following reports of a leak at one of its reactors. Chinese nuclear plants have maintained a good operating record so far, it added. Framatome, a French company that helps manage the plant, on Monday said it was dealing with a "performance issue".
