Lalit Khaitan, the 80-year-old Chairman & MD of liquor company Radico Khaitan, has become India's newest billionaire, Forbes reported. Khaitan achieved the feat after shares of the publicly traded company jumped more than 50% this year on rising sales. Khaitan entered the billionaire club with an estimated net worth of $1 billion based on his 40% stake in the company.
