Radio signals detected on Earth from galaxy 9 billion light-years away

Scientists from Canada and India have captured a radio signal from a galaxy almost nine billion light-years away from the Earth. The radio signal has a specific wavelength called the '21 cm line'. The signal was emitted from a star-creating galaxy named 'SDSSJ0826+5630' when the universe was 4.9 billion years old.
