Rafale deal on track, delivery of jets starts in 2019: Govt

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday informed the Parliament that the Rafale deal with France is on track, adding the delivery of the 36 fighter jets will start in September 2019 and be completed by April 2022. This comes amidst allegations from Congress President Rahul Gandhi that Sitharaman lied to the nation about the deal under PM Narendra Modi's pressure.
