Rahman's return is politically significant: Ex-envoy Das

Former Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das called Tarique Rahman's return after 17 years "politically very significant." She said he successfully managed the BNP from abroad and believes his presence could stabilise Bangladesh's turbulent politics. Das warned of rising right-wing influence and hopes Rahman will help consolidate centrist forces.
