Rahul Gandhi summoned in defamation case by Savarkar's grandnephew

A Pune court on Friday summoned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in a criminal defamation case filed by Satyaki Savarkar, grandnephew of late VD Savarkar. Satyaki accused the Congress leader of allegedly making objectionable remarks against his grandfather during his visit to the United Kingdom last year. Rahul has been ordered to appear before the court on October 23.
