Rahul Gandhi urges PM Modi to 'roll back UPI tax now'

Rahul Gandhi urged PM Narendra Modi to "roll back the UPI tax now" on Wednesday after the Centre imposed 0.4% MDR on UPI transactions over ₹2,000. "He has put a tax on every single Indian by taxing UPI and giving huge amount of money to US," Rahul added. The MDR applies to merchants who receive above ₹1 lakh/month via UPI.
