Rahul writes to PM Modi seeking Bharat Ratna for Kanshi Ram after Mayawati's criticism

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging that Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) founder Kanshi Ram be honoured with the Bharat Ratna. The letter came a day after BSP chief Mayawati criticised Rahul, saying the Congress did not even declare a day of national mourning when Kanshi Ram passed away while it was in power.
