Rail stocks like IRFC, IRCTC, RVNL fall after Union Budget 2024

Shares of railway stocks fell on Tuesday after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman did not mention any allocation for the railway sector in her Union Budget 2024 speech. IRFC shares fell around 20% from its previous close to hit an intra-day low of ₹164.6. RVNL and IRCTC shares fell around 10% and 7% respectively from their previous close.
