RailTel, Google to provide Wi-Fi at 400 stations

RailTel Corporation, the telecom arm of the Indian Railways, and Mahataa Information India, a subsidiary of Google, have signed a deal to provide Wi-Fi facilities at 400 railway stations across India. Around 100 stations from A1 and A categories (stations having annual passenger earnings of over ₹60 crore and ₹8-60 crore respectively) would be covered in the project's first phase.
