Railway Board approves BEML trains for Bengaluru Metro Pink Line

Bengaluru Metro’s Pink Line has received Railway Board approval to operate BEML-manufactured trains. BMRCL is targeting commercial operations on the elevated Kalena Agrahara-Tavarekere stretch in the second week of October, subject to CMRS safety clearance. The six-station section is expected to have trains every six minutes during peak hours and every 10 minutes during regular hours.
