Railway Board approves India's 1st ever hydrogen train in Haryana

The Railway Board approved the introduction of India's first-ever hydrogen-powered train in Haryana, The Indian Express reported citing a letter from the board. The letter said it approved "introduction of 10-car formation Hydrogen Fuel cell based...coaches with a maximum speed of 75 kmph". Two of the coaches will be DPCs (Driving Power Cars) of 1200 kW each, totalling 2400 kW.
