Railway Minister announces ₹2 crore reward, job promotion for Mirabai Chanu

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw felicitated weightlifter Mirabai Chanu for winning a silver medal in women's 49kg event at Tokyo Olympics and announced a reward of ₹2 crore. He also announced a promotion in her job in the Northeast Frontier Railway. "She has inspired billions around the world with her talent, handwork and grit. Keep winning for India!" Vaishnaw tweeted.
