Railway passengers to get ready to eat food amid LPG shortage
Amid an LPG shortage affecting railway kitchens, IRCTC has introduced ready-to-eat meals on trains to ensure uninterrupted food service. Passengers will receive items like poha, upma, rajma-chawal, and chole-chawal. The railways are also using induction and microwave cooking methods. This temporary shift ensures passengers continue receiving meals despite fuel supply disruptions across India.
