Railways conduct stainless steel container trials for salt loading

Indian Railways has introduced stainless steel containers for transportation of salt in the Bhimasar-Gandhidham section under its Ahmedabad Division. This reflects Indian Railways' continuous adoption of new technology to make freight movement safer, faster, and more efficient. These containers have been specially designed for the transportation of salt and other corrosive bulk materials.
