Railways conducts crash test of coaches at 43-44 kmph in Lucknow

The Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) successfully conducted a full-scale crashworthiness test of two Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches at its crash test facility in Lucknow. The test involved an LSLRD coach and an LWSPP coach, which were released from a specially designed ramp and made to collide with a stationary wagon at around 43-44 kmph.
