Railways issues notice to vacate mosque near Kashi station

Railways officials have issued a notice to vacate the Ganj Shaheeda mosque near Kashi Railway Station in Varanasi by June 20 as part of the station expansion project. However, the mosque's managing body, Intajamia Masjid Committee, has termed the notice illegal and said it would challenge the move in court. Railways said the action is part of an anti-encroachment drive.
