Railways reduces advance reservation period for train tickets to 60 days

Indian Railways has reduced the advance reservation period for train tickets from 120 days to 60 days. The move will come into effect from November 1. The rule will not affect tickets that have already been booked. There will be no change in case of certain day time express trains like Taj Express and Gomti Express, the Railway Ministry said.
