Railways testing token-based Tatkal reservation in Kota

Indian Railways has introduced a token-based system for Tatkal ticket bookings across all stations in Kota Division to reduce queues and improve transparency. Passengers will receive numbered tokens that determine their turn at reservation counters, eliminating the need to stand in long lines. If successful, the initiative could be expanded to other railway divisions across India.
