Railways to build next-gen trains with 220 kmph speed after Vande Bharat Express

The Ministry of Railways has planned to manufacture two new trains with a design speed of 220 kmph. At present, Vande Bharat Express is the fastest train on the Indian Railways network with a design speed of 180 kmph. These next-generation trains are expected to go beyond current speed limits and offer modern features for passengers.
