Railways to build underpasses/subways across India

Indian Railways is launching a mission-mode initiative to build user-friendly underpasses at high-risk track-crossing sites nationwide, targeting completion within 5-6 years. Directed by Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, these structures, designed for bicycles, motorcycles, and daily use, and will be designed in a way that their construction across railway tracks can be completed within just 12 hours.
