Railways to hold heritage run of 167-year-old steam engine on I-Day

Indian Railways will hold a heritage run of a 167-year-old locomotive, which is the world's oldest working steam engine, on Independence Day. The special service will run between Chennai's Egmore and Kodambakkam railway stations. "The beautiful sound of the whistle will send you back to the times of the steam locomotive from the days gone by," Divisional Railway Manager said.
