Railways to run 100 special trains for Durga Puja, Diwali & Chhath

Indian Railways announced that it will operate more than 100 special trains during festive season for Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath. The trains will operate on routes connecting Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Railways said it would add extra coaches to the trains and additional berths to accommodate more passengers and reduce waiting lists.
