Raina first ever cricketer to score 5,000 runs in IPL history

Chennai Super Kings' Suresh Raina has become the first ever cricketer to reach 5,000 runs in Indian Premier League. The 32-year-old left-handed batsman achieved the feat after scoring 15 runs in the IPL 2019 opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday. RCB captain Virat Kohli is the second highest run-scorer in IPL, with 4,954 runs in 156 IPL innings.
