Raipur–Visakhapatnam corridor to cut travel time by half

The 464 km Raipur-Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor will reduce travel time from 12 to 6-7 hours. Featuring a 2.79 km tunnel under Udanti-Sitanadi Tiger Reserve, eco-friendly overpasses, and wildlife passages, the highway boosts connectivity, trade, and logistics while protecting local wildlife. Construction in Chhattisgarh is 70% complete, with phased completion expected by November 2026.
